I just spent the week in L.A. doing an authentic blues recording w/my friend Vivian Campbell   (guitar & vocals from Def Leopard) and had a great time! I was impressed w/viv's guitar playing and really dug his vocal abilities on this stuff!
Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top) came in 2 days and did 2 tracks with us, which was like the icing on an already delicious  cake!

The band was excellent and so easy to groove with the studio (Ocean in Burbank ) and engineers were also wonderful.

This week i'm back to L.A. to do a gig at the Baked Potato on the 6th & 7th of May with my dear friend guitarist/composer Alex Machacek (bpm & Out Trio) and an older and equally dear friend bassist Doug Lunn (Mark Isham, Andy Summers, Wayne Kramer). We play improvised music as well as bpm material .
